Due to its low weekly ratings in the magazine, Double Arts was truncated and ended at chapter 23 during early September 2008, in the 41st issue of Weekly Shounen Jump. I know, it's such a shame right? When I thought the manga is really good! I hope the author at least will continue it later, but maybe impossible.
Plot: 
It's kind of hard to understand at first, because of the terms like 'Troy' disease, the 'Sister' job to cure the people that have been infected. But as the story goes on, you will understand better. The story is about travelling, searching for the cure.
What attracts me to read this manga is because the girl, Elli and the boy, Kiri cannot stop holding hand for whatever cost it may be. Because if they accidentally stop from doing that, Elli might die because she have been infected from this Troy disease. Oh, Elli is a sister.
Then, together, they go out for an adventure with some hint of romance! And this makes me shipping them and thus, making them as one of my OTPs ( I do have a lot of OTPs, might doing a list of them soon)
And one thing, like Koe no Katachi too, it have a un-cliche plot, a rare kind. Not sure but for me the manga is unlike others. I have never read or found a manga that they cannot stop holding hand with each other. If it does exist, do tell me! :)
Characters:
Elli and Kiri
The left one is Elli and beside her is Kiri!
Elli is cool and rather boyish but she have a kind heart, that's why she became a sister. She want to help people. Kiri is rather a easy-going guy and just go with the flow. They look so good together!
You see, I never had a dream or a goal like you, Elle. -Kiri
Sui
This one right here is Sui and she is a childhood friend of Kiri. (And possibly a third person??) She is really strong and really good in fighting!
Chapters Length:
Like I mentioned earlier, the manga got truncated because it have a low vote in Shounen Manga Magazine. (if you do watch Bakuman, you will understand this voting system) But it have a high rating in mangafox? I don't know, the readers is the one to blame. hah
But serious talk, the manga and anime this days is all about fan service and have a weak story line.(not all of them) The same thing were repeated again and again. But, the anime fans are all to blame, if there's no demand, the product will go unpopular, right? All mangaka want their manga have a high rating, so one way to solve it, put fan service in it.
Not the one to complain, I know how hard is it to find a rare idea, un-cliche and never have been done before.
But remember this, if there's a demand, there's a product.
Overall:
A good manga actually, the starting is good and the plot is okay. The ending is a bit rushed and hanged because of discontinued issue there but you will all know what happen to Kiri and Elli relationship so no worries about it. (Or maybe I just fantasized about it)
I found and read this manga on Kreko actually, a Malaysian magazine that have a several titles of manga. (yep Japanese one) But I don't know if the magazine is still there, because this issue I've read was from 2008 or something.
You guys need to read this yo.
Oh for extra information, this mangaka have a series called Nisekoi. Now now, you wonder why this manga is not being continued? Nisekoi is doing well and have an anime as well. Go watch it!
